Rules & Regulations

The following guidelines are established by the school manangement committee to ensure proper upbringing and adherence to school discipline. It is obligatory for the students and the guardians to follow the Norms of the school. At the time of admission, the guardians are to sign the declaration, containing the norms of the school.

NORMS TO BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED BY THE STUDENTS AND THE GUARDIANS.

STUDENTS' DIARY

The guardians are requested to use the diary effectively to communicate their views and opinions to the school. The guardians have every right to talk to the teachers but only during the recess. They can also meet the teachers to discuss any academic problem of their wards.

For Students

  • Running, playing, and shouting inside the school building is never allowed. Pupils from one class should not visit their friends in other class rooms during class hours or free periods.
  • Mobile phones and iPods are strictly forbidden in school. Such things found with the students will be confiscated which will not be returned.
  • It is necessary that all students should attend school in their full uniform. Those who are not in their complete uniform will not be given permission to enter class.
  • At the first bell, students are expected to move for the assembly and take their places.
  • Silence: Special care must be taken by teacher and pupils to preserve an atmosphere of silence and serious work during class hours. Silence must be observed outside the principals office, in the library and on the corridors. Silence must be observed on the stairs during class hours and during change of periods.
  • For Guardians

  • The guardians should see that their wards are regular and punctual in the school.
  • They should see that their wards are diligent at their homework and lessons.
  • They should insist on the neatness and cleanliness of uniform, text books , exercise books and personal appearance.
  • They should occasionally talk to the Principal, Class Teacher or Management to discuss the progress of their wards on any matter.
  • They are requested to keep close watch on Aademic Calendar, School Diary and other Notices served from time to time. They are requested to make any communication with the Teacher or Principal through the diary. The diary should be checked up daily and signed by the guardian, if necessary. They are requested not to meet their wards or to call the teacher on phone during the class hours. However, they may meet the Principal with prior appointment.
  • They are requested to pay up the tuition fees and other fees on due date. They are to pay the fees within the 10th of every month.
  • They are requested to be very careful about the use of Escort Cards because anybody holding the card may receive the ward. They should reach the bus stop well ahead of the arrival time of the bus. They will hand over the Escort Card to the helper of the bus to receive them from the helper in the gate of the bus.If the guardian does not hand over the Escort Card the student will not be delivered to anybody.The Escort Card will only be borne by the guardians or authorized persons noted in the school register.In case of loss of Escort Card the guardians should inform the Principal of the school and the local police station and apply to the school for the duplicate one in exchange of a fee to be decided by the school from time to time.
  • They must see to it that their wards are sent to school positively on days of compulsory attendance mentioned in the academic calendar. All Examinations and Tests will be held on the scheduled dates. The presence of the students on those dates is obligatory.
  • They must send their wards to every programme of the school.
  • They must check the bags of their students to see if books, khatas or any other things of any other student has been placed in the bag by mistake. If it happens, they should be properly returned. The guardians must see that their wards are not carrying knife, blade or any kind of sharp instruments or weapons.
  • When any guardian comes to school for any purpose they are requested to be neatly dressed and well mannered.
  • The food for their wards should be fresh, nutritious and easily digestible and also as per the taste of the student. The water bottle containing fresh water should be sent with them. The school bag, Tiffin box, Water bottle books and khatas should be properly labelled and named.
  • They must not send their wards to the school if they are ill or suffering from any infectious disease.
  • The guardians should give the school their active phone numbers and keep the phones open during the school hours.
  • In case of emergency and medical need the student may be allowed to leave the school along with their guardians on submission of their Escort Cards.
  • The guardians are requested not to use any insinuative words or expressions about school to the students or to anybody for any grievance .They are requested to contact the respective authority of the school.
  • The school will not stand liable for any mishap while travelling in the school bus .
  • The students for no cause will be allowed to bring mobile phones, i-pods, and other electronic gadgets to the school. If such things are found with the students, they will be confiscated and will not be returned.
  • The students should not come to school, adorned with jewelries and valuables. If such things are stolen or lost the school will not stand liable for that.
  • REGARDING VEHICLES

  • The helpers are in charge of the exchange of Escort Cards. They have been strictly directed not to hand over the students to anyone except parents, whose names and photographs are there in the Escort Cards or those authorized by the parents through authorized letters along with photographs. In case of loss of Escort Cards the guardians should inform the Principal of the School and they should apply for the duplicate one in exchange of a fee to be decided by the School from time to time.
  • The helper must not hand over the student even to the parents or authorized person without Escort Cards. He will bring back the student to the school and the parents will have to collect the student from the school on production of the proper Escort Cards.
  • The helper must not allow any child to get down in any place other than the place from where the child is regularly picked up. Any request from the guardian to allow his student to get down at any other place will not be entertained.
  • The helper has been seriously instructed not to pick up any unauthorized person or public into the school bus.
  • In case of any legal dispute between the parents, the student will be handed over only to legal parent. The court paper or the legal papers will have to be submitted to the school authority.
  • The guardians are requested to keep a close vigil on the attitude of the staff of the bus and to inform the Principal of any unusual behavior of the staff.
  • Some students come to school by public bus for tuition and other purpose and return by school bus. An undertaking is taken from the guardian stating that the school will not stand liable for anything that may happen on their way to school. The school only takes care of them from the school hours if they come to school.
  • The phone numbers of the guardians of all the students who travel in the bus are kept displayed in the Notice Board of the particular bus. Every guardian is to submit the proper and active phone number.
  • The School has provided one telephone to every helper of the bus.
  • REGARDING SCHOOL DICIPLINE

  • The main gate is kept under the strict supervision of the security and the entry and the exit of any visitor or outsider is recorded and regulated. Anybody is allowed entrance only on proper justification of his entrance. During the School Hours the roof doors are always closed.
  • A team has been formed with the following staff of the School to look into every nook and corner of the School building and the toilets immediately after the School is over to see if any student is left or kept confined anywhere and after verification Sri Souvik Dey, one of the members of the team reports to the Principal and signs the ‘All Clear” register. The members of the team are:

    • Smt. Purnima Betal, Matron
    • Sri Souvik De, Office Staff
    • Smt. Poulami Das Adhikari, Teacher
  • We have four floors where the Classes are held and in every floor one teacher is in charge to look into the movement and behavior of the students. Any abnormal and unruly behavior is instantly checked by him/her and the Class Teacher and brought to the notice of the Principal.
  • The guardians are requested to keep a close vigil on the attitude of the staff of the bus and to inform the Principal of any unusual behavior of the staff.
  • Some students come to school by public bus for tuition and other purpose and return by school bus.   • We are having Counselor to whom parents can inform about their concerns in confidence.
  • The students are strictly forbidden to bring any knife, razor, scissors, steel scales, steel spoons and forks, any kind of electronic gadgets, wires, any weapons etc.
  • The students are given moral lessons to be gentle and sober and to behave properly with their friends.
