Educational curriculum

The school is affiliated to the Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, the Code No. being W B 325. The medium of instruction or the first language is English. Bengali/Hindi is the second language and the third language respectively. The school has prepared a syllabus up to Class VIII on the basis of N.C.E.R.T. and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. In the beginning of the session the "inter-unit-examination-wise" syllabus will be handed over to the student. The paid-coaching by PATHFINDER professionals has been arranged by the school on every Sunday for the students of Classes VII to XII. Usually the subjects taught in the coaching classes are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Attempts are being taken for the special coaching for JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS by the PATHFINDER.

The medium of instruction is English and the curriculum is as per the norms of CISCE New Delhi for conducting ICSE/ISC Examinations. In near future the school curricula will also prescribe to different national and international Boards of Examination.


The school will offer all the courses from Nursery I to Standard XII in steps. The following courses will be offered.
Play Group > Nursery I > Nursery II > Preparatory > Standard I to Standard XII

ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) and ISC (Indian School Certificate) are a private, non-governmental board of school of education under the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE),New Delhi.

The ICSE Examination is the class 10 Board examination in India for students who have completed the Class X. Similarly ISC examination is a class 12 board examination for those completing Class XII. The CISCE board does not accept private candidates and a student can appear only through schools affiliated to the CISCE.

CISCE has the benefit of being recognized by many foreign institutions or education systems as this favours students who want to pursue their masters abroad.

Extra Curricular Activities

The students are to attend the Library classes positively and Physical training classes regularly.

The school regularly arranges the Activity classes, Rhymes competition, Spelling contests, Recitations, Nature Study etc. Co Curricular Cultural Activities like Recitation, Dance, Music, Yoga, Drama, Cruiser are regularly held.

We engage our students in some charity works. Emphasis is given on Extracurricular and Socially Productive Activities and Charity Activities.

In our school there is a constant effort to involve student in outside classroom activities like Traffic Awareness Programme, Garbage Cleaning Programme at the Car Festival Ground, Drinking water Awareness Programme, Campaign Against Plastics, Distributing Fruits and sweets to the patients of nearby rural hospital, Helping the students of the nearby orphanage to name a few.

The students also contribute money to the charity fund of the school and the collected money is send to Prime Minister Relief Fund.

School Functions

The school students participate in large numbers in different event and functions held during the academic year. Some of the prominent events held are Rabindra Jayanti, Teachers' Day, Childrens' Day, Annual Sports, Annual Cultural Programme, Grandparents' Day, Afforestation Programme- Vanamahotsav, Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhiji's Birthday, Nazrul Jayanti, Netaji s Birthday to name a few.

Inter House competitions

To faster a healthy sprit of competition, many inter house competitions are held in school. Inter house quiz, debate, elocution (Junior classes), singing, dance, recitation, football and cricket tournaments are part of the annual calendar.
